52 of the best high school basketball players in the country converged on Chicago this past weekend for the 2022 Jordan Brand Classic. Besides the experience of hooping against their peers on a national stage, participants in both the boys' and the girls' games took home something else as well: a special pair of Air Jordan 1 Lows.

Revealed by Oregon Ducks commit Dior Johnson, the Air Jordan 1 Low in question is vastly different than the black/white/gold or red/blue PEs past JBC participants like Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving sported. It's covered almost entirely in iridescent, Swarovski-like crystals that shimmer in purple or green depending on the angle they're viewed from, plus a special Jordan Brand Classic logo stamped on the insoles. A slight semblance of normalcy is supplied by black suede toeboxes, black leather Swooshes and white Nike/Jordan branding on the tongues and heels, but all in all, these are shoes you'd expect to see on a Jordan Brand-endorsed pop star like J Balvin instead of a hooper!

Unless you're an elite high school athlete, have some great connections or are willing to shell out some pretty serious aftermarket cash, you won't be able to get your hands on a pair of these special low-top Air Jordan 1s. However, you can check 'em out in detail above.
