General manager of the adidas Yeezy line, Jon Wexler, has finished up with the brand. It’s been confirmed his last day with adidas was on August 31, and the long-time marketer just took to Instagram to announce his departure from the Three Stripes.

Wexler worked a combined 18 years at adidas, starting all the way back in 2000. Before his last role as Yeezy GM, he was instrumental in pioneering collaborations with Kanye West, Pharrell, and Beyonce as vice president of global entertainment and influencer marketing.

Other career highlights included a proclivity to flex his massive Three Stripes stash and money-can’t-buy product – you’d expect an adi executive to do that, right? He also took to Twitter to defend Stormzy’s 350s V2s. It was definitely a long and prosperous tenure.

‘Wex’ is yet to announce what his next steps will be, but the sneaker world will be watching intently.
