The JJJJound x Salomon Xt-Wings 2 Gets a Drop Date

Update May 26, 2023: The JJJJound x Salomon Xt-Wings 2 is set to drop on June 1, 2023, via JJJJound.com, with a wider release on June 2, 2023, via Salomon’s global channels.

Update May 24, 2023: After posting a teaser photo, JJJJound posted another photo of the upcoming Salomon Xt-Wings 2 collaboration. Expect a drop date in the near future, and keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.

JJJJound have collaborated with a variety of brands over the years, most notably New Balance, ASICS, and PUMA, bringing their subversive normcore aesthetic to a number of sneakers. Now, the brand has taken the GORPy route, teaming up with Salomon on an Xt-Wings 2 scheduled to drop later this year.

In a teaser photo posted to Instagram, a cream mesh makes up the upper with the TPU overlays seen in white and royal blue. We can assume Salomon’s quick lacing setup is used, with Salomon and JJJJound branding seen on the medial and lateral sides. The white EnergyCell midsole features a TPU shank plate in royal blue with a lugged Contagrip outsole finishing off the sneaker in royal blue.
