After the release of their 990v4 in October, JJJJound and New Balance are back with another colab, namely a 990v3. The Montreal-based brand's second go-around with the 990v3 (their first released in 2018), this new style blends a military-esque olive green shade with some sporty embellishments and signature New Balance tech. It's the fifth sneaker created by the two parties and the fourth total colab they've done.

This brand-new style was accidentally put on the floor at a New Balance retail store in Barcelona. A few lucky sneakerheads were able to snag pairs before the store realised their error, and Roger Ruiz, one of those sneakerheads, shared images of the pair with SF.

Besides its two-tone olive mesh and pig suede detailing, the made in the USA sneaker adds details in silver, cream, black and white. In standard JJJJound fashion, special branding is kept to a minimum – only appearing on the heel tab and insole – and the shoes come with a second pair of dark green laces. According to Ruiz, the retail price was $250.

A global release date for the JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 has yet to be announced, but it'll likely be dropping sometime in 2022. We'll be sure to keep you updated as more info surfaces!
