The JJJJound x New Balance 2002R Drops Next Week

Update October 16, 2023: After the initial teaser, JJJJound have confirmed an October 26 release date for their latest New Balance 2002R. Pairs will release exclusively via the brand's web channels, so don't expect a wider release. Stay locked for updates.

JJJJound have teased a New Balance 2002R collaboration. It's crazy to think that a brand with some minimalistic taste could create such divisive product when it comes to the sneaker industry, but alas, that's part of that parcel when it comes to JJJJound sneaker collaborations. While the product doesn't appeal to all, that doesn't mean it doesn't result in coveted product. In 2022, the JJJJound x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14s were some of the most sought after pairs of the year. JJJJound have curated everything from the 990v3 to the 991, with their next pair looking to be the 2002R.

A blue-grey appears to be the hue of choice on the 2010s-harking silhouette, with it covering majority of the uppers. A darker shade of blue strikes some of the panels, sitting on top of a grey mesh base. A familiar blacked out N logo lands on the pairs, with white and cream midsoles finishing off the design.
