Go Inside the Midnight Launch of JD Sports' First New Zealand Store at Sylvia Park
Last week, opened their first retail location in New Zealand, picking out some prime real estate within the Sylvia Park shopping centre in Auckland. Hundreds of keen sneakerheads braved overnight queues for the November 10 midnight grand opening, which was highlighted with big drops and fun activations.
The latest brick-and-mortar in the company’s expansive global retail network boasts an extra fresh fit-out, aligning its interiors to that of their key international locations including Times Square, NYC and the new Stratford flagship in the UK.
As expected the walls were chock-full of fresh arrivals from staple brands like , and , which were also joined by some JD-exclusive labels including Pink Soda Sport and McKenzie. While options on-hand were seemingly endless, there's no doubt that the store’s first customers had clearly set their sights on some specific products.
