Jay Z Under Fire: Mlb Cracks Down On Ballin' Out
We knew Jay Z has so many watches he needs eight arms, but the appendage transplant still isn't available so he's been forced to give away some of his wrist riders to close associates. That generosity has landed him in hot water though, he gave a chump change $34,000 watch to his star Yankee Robinson Cano, who signed earlier this year to his Roc Nation sports agency, but the MLB doesn't allow agents to butter up clients by ballin' out. Jay is a rookie in this game, and this was a rookie mistake, kind of a reversal of yesterday's blunder by a couple of gooses from the Oregon Ducks. As is so often the case these days, bragging through social media proved the downfall for Cano, he Instagrammed a pic of the new Hublot from Jigger in Belgium for his 31st birthday. Cano is chasing a 310 million dollar contract right now, so paying a fine is unlikely to be a problem for him, but Jay could be in serious trouble if the MLB don't take kindly to his brotherly kindness. There's no word on a penalty yet, but we'll be keeping an eye on this one – it's a shame, why would you sign for Roc Nation for any other reason than being about that gold watch life?
