Pokémon x Nike Air Force 1 Custom Created for J Balvin
has a gargantuan presence in today's modern day sneakersphere with crep creators continuing to up all around the globe. Every month we catalogue all of our favourite customs within our series, but some just can’t wait! This was created by David Di Lernia especially for Reggaeton superstar J Balvin and deserved a standalone post.
Taking inspirational cues from the universe, specifically Pikachu, Di Lernia has chosen a two-tone upper with yellow overlays and crisp white underlays and midsole. Alongside the clean new colourway is a protruding Pikachu tail constructed with leather and massive Takashi Murukami-style flower lace lock. The Swoosh has also been altered with red contrast stitching around the outside matching J Balvin’s name scripted on the lateral heel. Inside the shoe is where things get even spicier, as a graphic insole and epic rainbow gradient liner have been added.
