If you thought your chance of copping a pair of 'Red Octobers' had long since passed, then we've got some exciting news for you! Kanye has officially applied for the 'Red October' trademark, according to TMZ. It's unclear what exactly Ye has mind for the trademark if successful. Clothes? Sneakers? Something else? We'll have to wait and find out. Just don't bank on the Nike Air Yeezy 2s of the same name returning. How about some Red October Wave Runners instead?
Additional documents obtained by TMZ show that Kanye attempted to trademark Red October back in 2013 when he first name-checked the term on Hold My Liquor. This original application was unsuccessful as Kanye didn't lodge all the required paperwork. D'oh!
