In-Hand Look: The Bad Bunny x adidas ZX 8000 ‘Ice Cream’
Last week we heard that Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny had a collaborative on the way, and now a new in-hand look has just arrived! Coming from an industry insider, they’ve blessed us with the clearest images yet, offering a closer look at the finer details.
Given the name ‘Ice Cream’, Bad Bunny’s next collaborative venture with Team Trefoil has been inspired by the melting milky desert. A lover of colour, his ZX 8000 has been covered in a range of vibrant hues from pink to orange, and even pops of blue and yellow. Interestingly, the tooling has been adjusted, creating a shoe that looks like it’s melting like ice cream. The Torsion lace dubrae and tongue tag have also been adjusted, and given a wavy look to go with the rest of the shoe.
This won’t be Bad Bunny’s first venture with adidas, the superstar has had a hand in creating exactly three this year, adding to the hype for the retro basketball silhouette.
