In-Hand Look: The Nike Dunk Low ‘Georgetown’
The ‘Georgetown’ colour scheme takes obvious cues from the Hoyas college basketball team that represents Georgetown University in the United States. Team Swoosh have opted for the classic two-tone approach that we’ve seen on many Dunks over the years. Grey covers the base and navy acts as the overlays. A white midsole helps to break up the model, with subtle hits of orange on the insole.
These new pics have come through from industry insider teddyssole, and they provide an early in-hand look at the iteration.
This isn’t the first time that the Georgetown Hoyas inspired a Nike colourway, their signature grey and blue has been a popular scheme over the years, and was recently seen on a leaked Air Jordan 1 and an Air Jordan 5.
Word on the street has it that the Nike Dunk Low ‘Georgetown’ was meant to release during the northern hemisphere’s summer. Official word is still yet to come through on these, so we’ll be waiting patiently and update you at the first sign of a release date.
