Update April 26, 2023: After teaser photos of the ‘Lilac’ colourway, the Humanrace Samba Colors by Pharrell is set to drop in array of tonal hues exclusively at Pharrell’s SOMETHING IN THE WATER Festival from April 28–30, with a global launch on May 6, 2023, via adidas CONFIRMED, Humanrace.com, in-store at Extra Butter NY, and Offspring in London. The collaborative sneaker will retail for $200.

The momentum for the adidas Samba continues to gain steam, with limited collaborations and general releases flying off shelves. After colabing with adidas on two colourways last December, Pharrell’s Humanrace puts a tonal spin on the Samba, which should hit stores later this year.

Thanks to @arab_lincoln, we get a detailed look at the upcoming sneaker. Lilac makes up the premium leather upper and overlays on this simple yet elegant colourway, with cowhide laces featured on the collaborative sneaker, giving it a tonal look. ‘HUMANRACE’ is stamped in lilac on the lateral side, replacing the Samba branding with an oversized Trefoil debossed on the tongue. The translucent midsole and outsole come in a lilac tint with the sneaker accompanied by an additional set of laces, Humanrace-branded dust bags and a special lilac box with Samba branding.

The Pharrell Humanrace x adidas Samba is expected to drop in the near future through adidas’ channels and at select retailers. Keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
