How to Style the Union x Air Jordan 2
The Air Jordan 2 has been experiencing somewhat of a resurgence over the past year through collaborations and rumours about the return of iconic colourways. While still a historic part of the Jordan Brand line, it's sandwiched in between the AJ1 and AJ3, two of the greatest Jumpman models to ever hit shelves, which hasn't been the most desirable position. However, it's been holding its own recently thanks to the A Ma Maniere announcement and hype Union colab!
Union released two colourways of their AJ2, a 'Grey Fog' and 'Rattan'. Both equally as clean, fans gravitated towards the 'Grey Fog' as it received a wider release just last week. Over the past few days we've witnessed an uptick in clean outfits that included Chris Gibbs' AJ2. Keep scrolling to find out how to style your pair!
Kicking it off is @sng1980 who opted for the rarer 'Rattan' colourway and we dig his use of tones! For his top half, he opted for a classy black blazer over a simple white tee. Wider fit khakis were a good choice to perfectly complement the Air Jordan 2s on-foot. The final addition is the tan Yankee fitted on the dome.
Channelling a minimalist streetwear vibe is @jin___style who's dug out his pair of the 'Grey Fogs'. Black denim and black tee is what has been chosen as the base, with matching blue Union jacket and Air Jordan 2s down below. We see you with that chain, bringing some serious bling!
@lilone_h has let it rip for his outfit, exuding plenty of drip! We were yet to see the Union AJ2s styled with shorts and now we know it can be done. Starting from the bottom up, the 'Grey Fogs' are on his gams with the Carhartt WIP logo shown proudly on his socks. Baggy tan shorts with blue tee and chain make way for that playful short-sleeve button up. Crisp!
Keeping it clean for the streets is @khrisnkrs! Hailing from Italy, his swaggy 'fit is bellissimo! On the dogs is the Union x Air Jordan 2 and he's paired them with some cuffed tan pants and graphic hoodie. On his head is a Supreme 5 panel, adding just a touch of hype.
