Paul George is enjoying a fruitful offseason. He just got married, his Los Angeles Clippers added John Wall in free agency and his latest Nike sneaker has received a high-speed makeover from Hot Wheels. George is a known lover of automobiles who owns a Ferrari 458 Spider, a Range Rover and a tricked-out Jeep Wrangler, so the Hot Wheels x Nike PG 6 boasts close ties to one of his favourite off-court passions.

Anything Hot Wheels is bound to be loud and colourful, and this PG 6 is no exception. Its details include a hot-and-cold gradient fade on the upper, a backwards flaming Swoosh on the lateral side, a firey iteration of George's #13 on the medial side and black/white checkered tongues that represent the end of a race. That's not all: special Hot Wheels/PG branding is spread across the tongues and the flame-printed insoles, and a custom box rounds off the aesthetic portion.

From a performance standpoint, the PG 6 boasts a full-length Reach foam midsole and an outsole pattern that's tuned to meet the demands of George's multi-directional game. Combined with the React foam construction, the patterns are somewhat reminiscent of the ones used on the React Element 87!

At the time of writing, there's no word on when the Hot Wheels x Nike PG 6 will speed into stores. We'll keep you updated as soon as a date of arrival is announced!
