Here's How People are Styling the New Balance 2002R 'Protection Pack'
The New Balance 2002R ‘Protection Pack’ has well and truly touched down! Pairs have been arriving at a slew of locations globally over the past few months. For a GR release, it caused quite the stir, with sneakerheads lining up around the block to try and secure their pair. It’s quickly become one of the most defining kicks of 2021.
Three colourways released as part of the ‘Protection Pack’ – the ‘Rain Cloud’, ‘Phantom’ and ‘Sea Salt’ – with the ‘Rain Cloud’ being the most popular of the trio. The design of the shoe moved away from the classic mid-2000s runner look, incorporating a deconstructed modernised take. The edges of each panel are rough, and purposely look unfinished.
Following the release, those who scored quickly put their newly copped heat on feet to take aesthetic pics and flex all over the TL. If you follow hidden.ny then you’ll know how much the Instagram moodboards loved this shoe! Due to its unique nature, it was hard to style, but many rose to the challenge. For this week’s edition of HPAS we trawled our socials and looked for the flyest individuals that wore the ‘Protection Pack’. Peruse the plethora of big fits down below.
