Athens-based skate store Color Skates recently joined forces with Nike SB to release a Dunk High inspired by the gyro, a favourite Greek meal. Called the 'Kebab and Destroy', it released a little over a week ago, and with packages now touching down globally we thought it was the best subject for our latest edition of How People Are Styling.

Clear kebab influences can be seen throughout the silhouette, with the most obvious being the embroidered graphic on the lateral heel. Lighter brown suede acts as the pita bread base, the meat is represented by the dark brown elephant print, and the Red Swoosh and laces act as the tomato. Rounding it all out is the tzatziki-themed white perforated toe box and Color Skates branding.

Arriving at select skate spots on June 26, many skaters and sneakerheads flocked to score the unique Color Skates x Nike SB Dunk High 'Kebab and Destroy'. Many decided to take their fresh-out-the-box pair and flex all over their TL with hectic skate videos or clean fit pics. We hit our socials and trawled IG to locate the best that did it.
