Almost 20 years ago, Hello Kitty and joined forces to celebrate the 30th anniversary of, parent company – Sanrio – through an collaboration! It never ended up receiving a retail release, only given out to special friends and family. Ever since, it’s been a grail for sneakerheads around the globe. That all changed this year, when leakers and industry insiders all that the mythical Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto could be returning. And they'll be releasing at select retailers very soon.
This Air Presto is pretty stock standard and keeps to the script, however we’re still yet to confirm whether they will come in OG or numbered sizing. Plenty of Hello Kitty details can be found scattered throughout, with repetitive graphic touches on the neoprene bootie, face on the heel panel and bow along the tongue. Graphics also cover the box, insoles and there's a stack of apparel to coincide with the release of the shoes.
The drop details for the 2022 Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto are still quite hazy, however we can confirm that atmos are releasing their stock on May 10! Other retailers within the APAC region including Finesse have posted a teaser however haven’t revealed an exact release date as of yet. It could very well be around the same time!
