CBA superstar Guo Ailun is an international basketball legend, one who's been called the 'Chinese Allen Iverson' for his fearless on-court nature and piercing play. He's also the first Chinese hooper to sign with Jordan Brand, and has been part of the Jumpman family since 2017. In the last five years, he's received PE editions of Jordan Brand performance models like clockwork: the Air Jordan 32 Low, Air Jordan 33, Air Jordan 34, Air Jordan 35 Low and Air Jordan 36 have all been Ailun-ified, and now the latest sneaker to appear as one of Ailun's PEs is the Air Jordan 36 Low.

A white and jade colour scheme is par for the course when it comes to Ailun's PE sneakers (save for his wildly-coloured Air Jordan 34) and here it's given some extra flair by a sweeping metallic silver mudguard. The rest of the build is mostly white, save for the jade accents on the tongue, heel, branded hits and marbled outsole. From a tech standpoint, Ailun's Air Jordan 36 Low features a lightweight jacquard leno-weave upper, full-length Air Zoom Strobel unit placed directly under the insole, an explosive midfoot plate system and an extra Zoom unit in the forefoot for enhanced responsiveness.

We're well on our way to the Air Jordan 37, but the Air Jordan 36 still has plenty of juice left – and Ailun's low-cut PE recently hit Nike and Jordan Brand retailers in Hong Kong. Word on a global release is forthcoming but many of Ailun's past drops have been exclusive to China, so this pair could well be the same.
