Globe Announce Highly Limited Lounge Skateboard with Eames Office

Legendary furniture design studio Eames Office has been a prominent figure in the sneakersphere over the past few years, collaborating with various brands to craft some epic product inspired by their iconic furniture. Next up is Globe, who’s linked with Eames to craft a highly limited Lounge Skateboard.

This skateboard is only limited to 56 units and has been inspired by the iconic Lounge Chair and Ottoman designed by Ray and Charles Eames. Infused into the board is the signature Eames aesthetic, taking cues from their chair design, merging skating and furniture design. The skateboard itself has been constructed using furniture grade wood and made carefully with Palisander veneers. Bevelled edges, aluminium rails and full-grain leather add to the chair-cross-skateboard aesthetic.

Each of the limited edition skateboards will also come with a plywood crate, its own presentation stand and a certificate of authenticity signed by the director of Eames Office and one of Globe’s founders. You can cop the board now by heading here to Globe’s webstore.
