The cutting edge collaboration with continues in 2009, along with a sexy new advertising campaign. Last season it was all about 'it' girl of the moment, but Spring '09 sees a new face to the Varvatos 'Get Chucked' collection with top model and founding member of the electro-soul band New Look, Sarah Ruba, joining the team.

'The stylistic evolution of the campaign nods to Converse’s punk/street sensibility, while maintaining the designer aesthetic of John Varvatos,' says Stephen Niedzwiecki, founder and creative director of YARD.  'We’ve used musical and artistic textures in this way to reinforce that music runs deep through the veins of this brand.' Shot by fashion photographer Keiron O’Connor and executed by New York's YARD design creative, this new direction parallels the next step in the Converse by Varvatos collection.
