Feast Your Eyes on the Florida Gators' Air Jordan 6 PE
The PE wizards at @englishsole have served up looks at everything from an alternate take on Ray Allen's famous Air Jordan 13 PE an Air Jordan 6 made for UNC's football team in recent weeks, and the most recent PE to be displayed by the Chicago-based outfit is an Air Jordan 6 that was created for the Florida Gators. Florida has been a Jordan Brand school since 2018, and this take on the AJ 6 follows other special makeups of the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 4 and Air Jordan 5.
Uppers are made of an artificially-aged leather, which works with an off-white midsole to provide a heritage-influenced look. Besides that, this shoe is all sport. Its key embellishment is a richly-detailed Gators logo embroidered on the heel, while tongue overlays get in on the action with varsity jacket-style #23 and Jumpman chenelle patches. If you look closely, you'll also notice baby Gators logos on each lace lock! Orange embellishments and clear tongues/heel tabs finalize the style.
This Air Jordan 6 won't see a retail release, as it was created exclusively for University of Florida athletes. However, you can check it out in detail above.
