First Look: The Ripped N' Reinforced ACRONYM x Nike Blazer Low

ACRONYM x Nike Blazer

Three years have passed since ACRONYM and Nike released their last set of takes on the Presto Mid. In that time, the Errolson Hugh–helmed brand has remained fairly quiet in the world of sneakers – apart from Hugh showing off a Nike Dunk 'Blunk' sample from 2009 earlier this year. Thankfull that silence has now ended, with images of an ACRONYM x Nike Blazer Low surfacing via IG users inwng and aks.

Offering a style that can be categorised as 'ripped n' reinforced', ACRONYM's low-cut Blazer features two major design elements. The first of these is a technical heel cage, done up in 'Lemon Venom' and white, that's held together by shimmering silver studs. Though it doesn't seem to serve any functional purpose, it sure looks good! The second piece isn't relegated to a specific part of the shoe: it's the upper's shredded black canvas cocoon, which reveals a solid white base layer. Co-branded details appear on the exposed foam tongue, and Swooshes fade back into the aforementioned heel cage, with yellow-tinted midsoles rounding off the look.

Hugh himself wore the ACRONYM x Nike Blazer Low at Paris Fashion week, but at the time of writing, there's no word surrounding a release. We'll be sure to provide further info as soon as it's available.
