First Look: The New adidas 4D Kick
When adidas’ 4D sole unit came out, the sneakersphere went nuts! A few years later and it’s still one of the most futuristic midsoles in the game. Last year we saw a slight resurgence in 4D-adorned silhouettes. The dual END. collaborations were a highlight, with the UK-based retailer dousing the EVO 4D in ‘Dark Matter’ and getting messy in a ‘Dune’. Now, we’ve received our first-ever look at a new adidas silhouette that boasts the out-there sole unit.
Dubbed the adidas 4D Kick, imagery and details come fresh from the sneakiest sneaker leaker in the game yankeekicks. The upper of this brand new silhouette has been doused in mesh, with the colourway consisting mainly of olive green. Offsetting the tone is the black side stripes and, of course, the colour of the 4D sole unit. What’s interesting about this particular silhouette is that the 4D sole has only been placed along the heel of the shoe. While it usually makes a full-length appearance.
Release information is super scarce for the adidas 4D Kick at this stage, however, according to yankeekicks they should be arriving this year. We’ll keep you updated when adidas officially confirms this release.
