First Look! An Oakley x Brain Dead Colab

To most, Oakley might be known predominantly for their eyewear and maybe their apparel too, but those in-the-know, know that some of the hottest fire to have arisen from the brand, is the footwear.

And given that the Y2K aesthetic is running hot and heavy in the 2020s, it's no wonder at all that we are seeing brands bringing back more and more styles from the aforementioned era. Next in line is a collaboration that is destined to get Instagram mood boarders very excited, a meeting of the minds between Brain Dead and Oakley. And as images reveal, they're taking on the archival Oakley Flesh silhouette.

Surfaced via @seanpettit, this first look provides a multiple angles of the shoe, as well as what they look like on-foot. Comprised of a sail suede and light brown Aeroprene upper, they're contrasted with black midsoles. When it comes to embellishments, the pairs feature blue cut-outs, as well as the Oakley branding striking front and centre. Underneath, things get even funkier, with the outsole resembling skeletal bone anatomy.

Both of the involved brands are yet to confirm this colab, however with these images circulating, updates should be filtering through very shortly.
