The National Basketball Association (NBA) is celebrating its 75th anniversary – otherwise known as the ‘Diamond Anniversary’ – and Nike have created two special edition Dunk Low EMBs to commemorate the occasion. Glancing at the first leaked pics from pvasneakers, the specific theme for each sneaker isn’t clear. However, some have suggested the colours are based on the NBA’s franchises (possibly the Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks), while others say they’re a nod to the iconic NBA logo.

Either way, one pair comes dressed in a Sail/Black/Black/Chile Red scheme, while the other sports a Black/Racer Blue/Grey Fog/Orange composition. At this stage, we only have IRL pics of the former, which features celebratory ‘75th anniversary’ tongue tags with the Jerry West silhouette from the NBA logo. In another nice touch, there’s diamond-etched lace dubraes – safe to say, have always been a solid combo.

No official release date has been revealed, but look for the NBA x Nike Dunk Low EMB ‘75th Anniversary’ styles to release later in 2021, possibly in October. Stay tuned for updates.
