First Look: Jeff Staple x atmos x New Balance X-Racer Utility On the Way

Jeff Staple x atmos x New Balance X-Racer Collaboration

Jeff Staple is never too far away from , and it looks like another collaborative project is on the way from the New York City native – by way of Japan! Staple is teaming up with legendary retailer atmos for a ‘Pigeon’ colourway of the New Balance X-Racer Utility.

Teased via Staple and atmos founder Koji Hirofumi, the project makes use of the popular trail-inspired silhouette, which has seen a previous collaboration from Bodega earlier this year. The latest teaser shots reveal a colourway with Staple’s familiar ‘Pigeon’ scheme (as seen on his sought after 577), but changes things up slightly with some darker tones in the mix. The upper features black and dark grey suede, with some technical mesh in pink dressing the top portion. Additionally, the N-branded mid panel is done in a contrasting white-to-pink gradient. The left lateral rear section features Staple’s Pigeon motif, while the right side’s logo is blacked out, to represent a Japanese crow. Down below, there’s stylish speckled detailing on the midsole, with trail-ready tread hitting the outsole.

Still early days, but the Jeff Staple x atmos x New Balance X-Racer Utility is yet to receive an official release date. Expect some news in the coming days… Stay tuned!
