First Look: Gundam x Nike SB Dunk High ‘RX-0 Unicorn’ Collaboration Leaked!
Fresh off a colourway, are again tapping into , prepping a special collaboration with iconic mecha-robot franchise Gundam. A bona fide must-cop for fans of the series, the first leaked colourway (possibly a sample) is likely an homage to the ‘RX-0 Unicorn’, the titular prototype mobile suit of the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn novel.
Making use of a creamy white base, the sneaker’s upper is decorated with various details referencing the Gundam’s suit. The red highlights of the robot are mimicked with contrasting piping, stitching and laces, while the unicorn logo in the same hue is seen on the lateral sides toward the heel. There’s black on the tongue, eyelet and rear of the ankle collar, with mecha-like details adding a unique aesthetic to the toe box. Providing a focal point of the sneaker is the redesigned side Swoosh in yellow, referencing the Gundam’s V-Fin antennas. Down below, a white midsole and black outsole provide the finishing touches.
