First Look at the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk High 'Duck'
Boston boutique Concepts have finessed some of the most sought-after Nike SB Dunks of all time, and that legacy continues with a fresh Dunk High take for 2020. New shots have emerged of an earthy ‘Duck’ colourway, adding to the famed ‘Purple Lobster’ and ‘Green Lobster’ Dunk Lows from years gone by.
Shared by leak connoisseur solebyjc, this Nike SB Dunk High arrives in a mallard duck theme, which could be a nod to Make Way for Ducklings by Robert McCloskey, the official children’s book of the state of Massachusetts, Concepts’ home state. The sneaker wears a mix of materials, with suede and leather making up most of the upper. Winter-ready brown tones are the order of the day, with a blue Swoosh adding subtle contrast. Additionally, there’s a duck printed on the sockliner, while Concepts’ signature ‘C’ logo is spotted behind the traditional tongue branding, confirming the collaborative connection.
The boutique has never been afraid to flaunt their hometown pride, as seen on their recent link up with Lacoste. However, with Dunkmania at fever pitch, this could be one of their most hyped projects to date.
Stay tuned for an official unveiling, ahead of a potential release in the northern Fall season.
