F&F colourways aren’t uncommon among the Swoosh’s reoccurring Quai 54 lineups, with various exclusive renditions revealed throughout the years, such as , and . However, this ultra-rare AJ5 has to rank up there with the best alternates we’ve seen to date.
A flip on the white colours of the mainline colourway, this ‘Friends and Family’ offering of the Air Jordan 5 has a black suede base with the same detailing and designs inspired by traditional West African fabric patterns. Down below, we get a white midsole with the familiar shark teeth done in black, while a red translucent outsole completes the design.
As with most ‘Friends and Family’ footwear, the Air Jordan 5 Quai 54 ‘Friends and Family’ won’t likely get a public release, with pairs reserved for VIPs among the Swoosh and Quai 54 crews. That said, you can always expect a few pairs to pop up on the secondary market.
