Jordan Brand are rugging up for colder conditions, introducing their latest rendition of MJ’s first signature sneaker: the Air Jordan 1 Acclimate. A winterised take on the classic silhouette, the new build adds to other AJ1 variants such as the CMFT and Flyease, reinforcing the Jumpman’s push to expand the silhouette’s general release lineup.

The first colourway of the new model comes dressed in a murdered-out ‘Triple Black’ style – highly suitable for cold-weather fits. It features a heavy-duty leather upper with sealed perforations at the toe box to keep out rain and snow, while other details such as boot-inspired metal D-ring eyelets add to the rugged look. Textured panels are used around the collar, reinforced with an added plastic heel clip for increased protection from the elements. However, this means there’s no traditional ‘Wings’ logo. Last but not least, there’s visible thick faux fur lining for next-level warmth.

An official release date for the Air Jordan 1 Acclimate ‘Triple Black’ has not been revealed yet, but expect them to drop via SNKRS in the coming weeks.
