Finisterre Prepare to Hold Sea7: The UK’s First Ever Online Ocean Activist Training Camp
Hardy outdoors brand Finisterre is about to hold Sea7 – the UK’s first ever online Ocean Activist Training Camp. Streamed live to a global audience from Finisterre’s workshop in St. Agnes, the innovative event will feature such globally-respected speakers as the Executive Producer of BBC’s The Blue Planet, James Honeyborne, founder Cyrill Gutsch, renowned surfer and marine social scientist Dr. Easkey Britton, and the founder of People Tree, Safia Minney.
Finisterre, the B Corp certified cold water surf and adventure brand, will present the online ocean activist training camp on June 10. Sea7 will address seven key ocean issues via a series of online workshops, take-away learnings, and activism tools. As they explain, ‘From sailors, to surfers, to those who prefer to watch the waves from the shore, if we connect with the sea, we will love it. And if we love something, we will always protect it.’
