Extra Butter Surprise Three Local Heroes That Help Their Community

Extra Butter Air Jordan 11 Jubilee

The legendary New York boutique Extra Butter recently conducted an exclusive early release of the Air Jordan 11 ‘Jubilee’, but that’s not all they’ve been up to. Trying to help their community, the store was recently fundraising money for NY-based initiative Hour Children, which provides services to incarcerated and formally incarcerated women in the community. Partnering with the charity, Extra Butter were able to raise money to help provide free hot meals to disadvantaged families over the upcoming Holiday Season. In celebration of the Jordan Brand legacy, Extra Butter Creative Director, Bernie Gross, recently stopped by to see Sister Tesa Fitzgerald to gift her with her very first pair of Jordans to say thank you for the amazing work she does in the community.

But that’s not all, Gross also paid a visit to DJ Juicy and DJ Sharad who founded On The House, which is an organisation that helps to drive awareness about hunger and food insecurity. They also partnered with Extra Butter during the COVID-19 lockdown for the ‘Help Queens Now’ project, which provided frontline healthcare workers and longtime patients in the ICU with essential items such as PPE and hot meals. The DJ duo at On The House will also be helping to provide free meals to Hour Children over the Holidays.

Big ups to you guys over at Extra Butter, On The House and Hour Children! Check out the On The House initiative here, and Hour Children here.
