Event Recap: JD Sports’ ‘SHOCKDROPS’ Delivers Free Dunks and Good Vibes
With Melbourne’s iconic Section 8 open-air bar providing the backdrop, held their first ever ‘SHOCKDROPS’ event, celebrating all-conquering with vibin’ tunes, tasty bites, and free sneakers!
Bringing the local sneaker community together, the gathering was highlighted with 34 pairs of the latest Dunk colourways being gifted to lucky attendees. Each of the special Dunk packs included a custom Nike Dunk box, with extra goodies designed by creative crews House of Devine, Another Good Studio, and Noble Nativez.
Despite Melbourne’s typically inclement weather, a healthy collective of passionate sneakerheads packed the venue, where they were treated to a live performance from the aforementioned Noble Nativez.
Fuelled by tasty sliders, and plenty of drinks available from the bar, the crowd brought their energy all day, waiting in anticipation for the complementary pairs of the sold-out and to be handed out.
