Event Recap: adidas' Nite Jogger Launch Event in London
An abandoned garage in the backstreets of Peckham, London, provided a fitting backdrop for the launch of new . A modernised version of the 70s runner of the same name, the 2019 revamp introduces the brand’s ever-popular BOOST cushioning to the mix, injecting new energy into the classic after hours runner.
As expected, the Three Stripes came through with a stunning event space, highlighted with special rooms dedicated to content creation, t-shirt printing and sneaker scanning. Guests were gifted an envelope upon arrival containing a ‘credit card’ to spend on refreshments and activities throughout the night.
Most importantly, the launch gave us the opportunity to check out the new sneaker first hand, and the Nite Jogger was certainly a sight to behold. The sneaker shimmers in the darkness thanks to reflective orange detailing, with an exposed foam tongue and stitched Three Stripe branding adding some deconstructed charm to the retro-inspired design.
Fellow attendees also vibed with the new sneaker, excited with what adidas has in store for the rest of the year. Safe to say, it was a Nite to remember.
