Renowned auction house Sotheby’s has eight of world’s rarest artist-created sneakers up for bidding as part of their ‘Cult Canvas’ event.

Featuring Grails from Nike SB and Jordan Brand, the lineup celebrates the crossovers between art and fashion, illustration and design, and sport and culture. Each sneaker is a one-off limited-edition pair or production sample, and each was made in collaboration with artists.

Seven sought-after Nike SB Dunk Lows feature in ‘Cult Canvas’, including the collaborations with Futura, Jeff Staple, Bernard Buffet, and Katsuya Terada. Additionally, Peter Moore’s Air Jordan 1 ‘Bred’ from 1985 adds some Jumpman flavour to the exclusive assortment.

‘Cult Canvas’ is now live on Sotheby’s, with bidding open until September 30. Better top up that PayPal…
