Since it kicked off in 2021, the partnership between Eames and Reebok has been centred around the Club C. Now, however, it's set to enter a new chapter with two Classic Leather colabs. Revealed by Leo Gamboa – Reebok's former senior global product marketing manager for collaborations who was responsible for initiating the partnership and is now in a similar role at Levi's – each shoe pays homage to a famed Eames product, namely the Coloring Toy and a rosewood iteration of the Eames' LCW chair, which was named the best design of the 20th century by Time.

The 'Colouring Toy' Classic Leather is dressed in white and illustrated with thickly-lined figures from heel to toe. It's inspired by the Eames Colouring Toy, a colouring set for kids that was introduced in 1955 and featured a variety of die-cut panels, premium crayons and butterfly clips, allowing its users to create their own colourful, customized figures.

On the other hand, the 'Rosewood' Classic Leather features an all-over rosewood print that's placed atop black midsoles and lined with custom insoles. The exact rosewood iteration of the LCW chair it's inspired by was produced in a very limited run back in 1946, and is a must-have collector's item for die-hard Eames fans.

At the time of writing, an official release date or pricing information for the collection has yet to be announced, though the 'Colouring Toy' has begun surfacing at a handful of European retailers. Stay tuned for more info!
