Drake’s NOCTA x Nike Collaboration Announces Basketball Line
The latest category expansion of the collaboration with is basketball, following the official announcement of a series of performance apparel and accessories.
Consisting of an ‘engineered-knit jersey, a fitted short, and a single-leg compression tight, to player accessories like socks, arm sleeves and headbands’, the NOCTA Basketball collection looks to offer head-to-toe solutions for keen ballers. Given there’s input from Nike, it’s likely these garments aren’t just for show. Not to mention that Drake himself is a certified player boy with his own NBA-sized court in one of his many home gyms.
NOCTA Basketball is the next venture for the Drake x Nike sub-brand that went live in late 2020, and has so far ventured into urban wear and golf. The biggest release to date has undoubtedly been the Hot Step Air Terra, a model that saw a protracted teaser process and drawn-out release schedule.
While this announcement makes no mention of footwear, Drake’s recent in unidentified Nike basketball shoes point towards the increasingly likely possibility of more NOCTA sneakers down the line.
The NOCTA Basketball range will be available directly from NOCTA and Nike from July 27.
