After the success of our cover for issue 15, we knew we had to up the ante with , so what better way to get you bumpin' than our very first DJ mixtape. After scouring through tonnes of turntablists, we hit up party starter extraordinaire . Hailing from the pitts of burgh, this tattooed wonder gets any shindig shakin' with his extensive mash of rock, metal, jazz, hip hop and of course that jam that'll make you holla "this my joint!!' We gave Zimmie full reign to make a mix and with over 80 tracks in just over 60 minutes, he delivered the goods and then some.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, DJ Zimmie was brought up on an eclectic mix of classic rock, metal, jazz and hip hop. As he matured, his tastes expanded and he explored musical instruments and turntables. After living in several major cities around the country including Philly, NYC, Portland and LA, Zimmie returned to Pittsburgh to make his mark.
