Our homie (he rocked our Issue 18 launch last year!) has just re-released his epic 'Best Of A Tribe Called Quest' mixtape from 2005 to celebrate the release of the group's fantastic documentary 'Beats, Rhymes & Life'. Michael Rapaport, the film's creator was so touched by the Platurn mix he went so far as to say, 'this is my favourite Tribe Mix, it inspired us making Beats, Rhymes & Life'. Hand chosen to rock the ones and twos at the film's Bay Area release this past weekend, Platurn has now dug this mixtape gem out of the vaults and given us all a second listen.
