have been creating plenty of buzz with their re-interpretations of classic sneakers from the  archives, so we've linked up with them to drop some knowledge on iconic PONY models for new fans who are new to the game. The objective of the brand's re-emergence is to offer product which educates the history of PONY in a modern minimalist vision, so what better way than to let them spotlight the best sneakers to ever sport the chevron stripes and the new school torchbearers.

Greenwich
In 1975, Pony released the Starter and Starter low, two multi-sport classic court shoes. Product of New York reimagined the low and high cut Starter models by removing elements such as padding, eyerow panel, and additional overlays, creating the Greenwich and Greenwich High models. Constructed with techniques of a dress shoe in mind, all seams are rolled, perforated Chevron logo, full leather and suede lined, upper sitting on the original archived PONY Starter tooling. These elements of past and present are bonded together with a new smooth leather foxing wrap, featuring the newly designed PONY logo on the heel.

M-110
Lifted from PONY's archive is the 1990 M-110 model. For Product of New York, the M-110 has been rematerialized, retaining the original pattern, in a full leather upper lined in leather sitting atop the original PONY outsole with the EVA midsole wrapped in leather. The original logos are minimally applied with a tonal debossing.

Tribeca
Pony released the OG runner in 1972 which inspired the Product of New York Tribeca. The 1972 runner's original title logo, nylon mesh and cut and buff EVA midsole has been replaced with the Tribeca's simplified upper, embossed eye-row panel, lined in leather, sitting on a leather wrapped, moulded EVA outsole and finished with the new PONY logo laser etched on the tongue.
