Dior Goes on an Opulent World Tour with The B27
Since its bold introduction to the luxury skatersphere, Dior’s celebrated B27 sneaker has become the jewel of the legendary fashion house's low-top lineup. Exuding the vibes of an 80s vintage skate shoe, it takes from the street-ready look and adds tasteful touches that match with Dior’s deluxe design ethos. Designed by the one and only Kim Jones, the revered silhouette continues to evolve, and this next extension of the B27 universe arrives via a limited edition World Tour capsule.
With the street in mind, Dior crafted five separate colourways of their B27, each featuring subtle upgrades and opulent packaging additions. The silhouette and panelled look remains the same, with the distinctive three-dimensional appearance still intact. The recognisable Dior Oblique motif has gone for a monochrome finish subtly woven into the sides and, for the logo obsessed, there’s also bold branding hits on the midsole and heel. The 80s-skate influence is strong, with a perforated toe box and added mudguard stitching replicating an ollie-guard.
The latest B27 arrives in yellow, red, blue, green, and black colourways, each combo complemented with a on-theme gum outsole to add more depth to the finish. They're also releasing alongside a custom Dior-branded leather carry bag designed just for sneakers, which you can cop separately.
The Dior World Tour capsule is as opulent as it is limited. Luckily, the blue pair has touched down at Sneaker Freaker HQ, and we were able to unbox it so you can get the closest look possible.
