Customiser Cooks Up a BTS x McDonald’s x Nike Air Max Plus
Superstar K-Pop boyband BTS are running hot right now, picking up endorsements with everyone from Samsung to McDonald’s. The latter has cashed in on the Bangtan Boys hype, cooking up a themed BTS meal, allowing Singaporean artist Josiah Chua to go one better, using the meal’s packaging to create a wild custom .
Using the classic model as a base, Chua has decorated uppers with purple tones, using the panels from the McNugget box and drink cup, which he cut up himself. The cups are also used to heighten the shoe, wrapping around the ankle. If you’re hankering for a bite, there’s a holster on the side of the shoe, which houses the nuggets. Meanwhile, the meal’s special Cajun and Sweet Chilli Sauces come fastened onto the laces. Please, no double dipping!
