Crenshaw Skate Club collaborated with Jordan Brand last year on the Air Jordan 36 Low, and now the brand is expected to drop a collaborative Nike SB Dunk Low later this year.
Founded by Tobey McIntosh in 2017, Crenshaw Skate Club got its start with tees that McIntosh and friends wore to the skatepark alongside a drive for more black representation in the skate scene. Fast forward to today, the brand has grown exponentially with colabs with The Hundreds, Lacoste, and the Los Angeles Clippers on their resume.
The collaborative SB Dunk Low features an all-suede build, using cream on the base with a plum and seafoam green marbled print used on the overlays. Seafoam green is seen again on the liner, with CSC and Nike SB co-branding on the tongue tag. The Swoosh and heeltab are seen in university blue, with CSC branding on the right heeltab and Nike branding on the left. A graphic of kids playing with CSC building blocks is seen behind the left tongue, with Crewshaw Skate Club branding behind the right.
White is used on the midsole with a Zoom unit in the heel of the co-branded insole with the icy translucent outsole featuring the same graphic behind the left tongue.
The Crenshaw Skate Club x Nike SB Dunk Low is expected to drop later this year via SNKRS and select skate shops. Keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for any updates.
