Here’s How to Cop Some of Music’s Hottest Sneakers for Retail
Music and sneakers go hand in hand, so it’s no surprise that some of the most hyped pairs in the modern sneakersphere have connections to your favourite artists and bands. From Travis Scott and his ongoing partnership with Jordan Brand to the Grateful Dead’s furry Nike SB Dunk colab, music collaborations have sent supply and demand through the roof in recent years. Loving these collaborations is one thing, but actually being able to cop them when they release is another.
Over the course of a year, eBay UK's data recordings have shown a notable spike in search for sneakers with links to music culture. There's been four times the amount of searches for Liam Gallagher's adidas Spezial, 121 per cent more searches for the Skepta x Nike Tailwind, 140 per cent more searches for Yeezy Foam Runner and 75 per cent more searches for A Bathing Ape sneakers.
With all of that in mind, that’s why eBay UK are on a mission to hook you up through OG Drops, where they’re hosting an online raffle that allows you to cop at retail prices! They’ve picked out some of the hottest pairs, including the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 ‘Houston Oilers’, the Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Yellow Bear’, the Yeezy 350 ‘Oxford Tan’, the Air Jordan 1 Mid ‘Kentucky Blue’ (previously owned by artist IAMDDB) and the Patta x New Balance 991.
To enter the raffle, all you need to do is put down £1 (or equivalent) on your desired shoe(s). All proceeds will be directed to Manchester’s Olympias Music Foundation – a charity that champions diversity in music.
