Converse Japan Hit the Trails With a New Camping Supply Collection
The past few years have seen a major uptick in jawns inspired by camping, trail and hiking, with brands like Salomon and Nike ACG shooting up in the popularity stakes. Chiming into that world in this year is Converse’s Japan branch with their second Camping Supply footwear collection. Two silhouettes have been received durable teched-out makeups, with the QAK SP receiving two colourways, and the RSS CP FR blessed with one.
The QAK SP exudes the 90s hiking look in two monochrome colourways: one in all-black, and the other in olive green. It has been kitted-out in a technical upper with CORDURA fabric acting as a tough base. Classic hiking additions include two-tone laces with a drawstring fastening, metal eyestays, and rear pull-tab. The RSS CP FR has been blessed with a shiny silver/grey combo, while a blacked-out midsole sits down below. Ripstop material makes up the base, and glossy leather overlays add some depth. A strap closure makes for a unique look, and is locked down by a tactical buckle.
The full Converse Japan Spring/Summer 2021 Camping Supply Collection will release through their webstore over the coming few months.
