The Comme des Garçons Homme Plus x Nike Air Foamposite One debuted way back in January via the Japanese brand’s Autumn/Winter 2021 showcase, and it wasn’t until months later that leaked pics began floating around. Completely reimagining the model, CDG upgraded the moulded uppers, choosing a rippled pattern to surround the outside and dressing them in monochromatic tones.

While it isn't necessarily unknown, the Foams' popularity among the mainstream has declined rapidly over the past few years. We aren’t surprised that CDG chose it for their latest Nike link up, as they’re known for digging into the archive and resurrecting obscure Swoosh silhouettes. They recently tapped the enigmatic Nike Air Carnivore and spearheaded the ACG Air Mowabb revival.

The Comme des Garçons Homme Plus x Nike Air Foamposite One was originally thought to be a Dover Street Market exclusive with a Japan-only drop following on November 26, however an allocation has now been handed out to a select number of retailers for a wider global release on November 13.
