A closer look at the upcoming  Air Jordan 4 ‘White Oreo’ has emerged ahead of its release next month. Momentum has been slowly building behind this drop for a while now, after official pics surfaced back in February, and then word of a slightly delayed arrival broke a few weeks ago.

The clean colourway offers up a slightly creamier version of the popular cookies and cream scheme that we’ve seen on plenty of Jumpman sneakers over the years. Aside from the speckled midsole, this AJ4 keeps things pretty simple for the most part, with white leather dominating the upper. Elsewhere, the striking red Jumpman logo on the tongue provides a welcome touch of contrast.

Originally released in 1989, the Air Jordan 4 became known for designer  Tinker  Hatfield taking the design language of  Michael  Jordan’s burgeoning signature line to a whole new level. While details like bold sculpted tooling, visible Air cushioning, and the unmistakable Jumpman remained from earlier models, the AJ4 added breathable mesh netting on the upper and tongue, as well as ‘wings’ and moulded additions to the eyestay to allow for multiple lacing options.

Pairs of the Air Jordan 4 ‘White Oreo’ are scheduled to release on July 3 via Nike and selected Jumpman stockists such as Flight Club.
