Closer Look: The Air Jordan 1 ‘Seafoam’ in White Laces

Air Jordan 1 ‘Seafoam’

A closer look at the  Air Jordan 1  ‘Seafoam’ has emerged ahead of its release next month, but there’s one major change from what we’ve seen so far: clean white laces instead of the ones with ‘Healing Orange’ trim. That switch provides a cleaner two-tone aesthetic, begging the question of which lacing option wearers will go with when this women’s release hits stores in August. In fact, the Air Jordan 1 ‘Seafoam’ is expected to include three different sets of laces: the clean white seen here, the strongly contrasting ‘Healing Orange’ trim, and a straight ‘Seafoam’. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

The previously untouchable Air Jordan 1 has recently been challenged for sneaker supremacy but its 1985 alumni: the Nike  Dunk. If you occasionally struggle to name all of the differences between the game-changing AJ1 and the current shoe-of-the-moment Dunk, you need to study Sneaker Freaker’s in-depth  comparison of the two models. Even if you think you know them all, you might find one or two that you hadn’t noticed before.

Pairs of the Air Jordan 1 ‘Seafoam’ are scheduled to hit Nike and selected Jumpman stockists on August 12.
