Closer Look: Nike's League of Legends-Inspired Collection

Nike Air Force 1 High 'Have a Good Game'

eSports and sneakers may seem like strange bedfellows, but as gaming has grown into a cultural behemoth, its crossover with sneaker culture became almost inevitable. We've seen adidas team up with Twitch titan Ninja, Nike sponsor the entire League of Legends Pro League, and now the Swoosh are serving up a full collection inspired by the online game.

The pack sees sprays of technicolour light up crisp white, while a flurry of details nod to the digital inspiration. Want a closer look? We've broken down the entire collection below.

Air Jordan 1

Arguably the most anticipated release from the pack, this Air Jordan 1 pulls out all the stops. It sports shimmering panels and oil-slick finishes for an out-of-this world take on the classic Jay.

Blazer

The Blazer supercharges the gaming aesthetic and bumps up the vintage vibes. Holographic tongue tabs, interchangeable Velcro heel patches, and a headset-wearing Swoosh smiley face add cute factor, while a pixelated Swoosh makes clear the shoes' inspo. Oh, and they light up with Nike branding under a black light. It's all in the details!

Air Max 90

The 8-bit Swoosh and hidden iridescent Swooshes carry over to the pack's Air Max 90, whose mudguard shines with Nike branding.

Down below, see-through outsoles add the modern touch.

Air Force 1

New images of the upcoming pack reveal that there isn't one but three gaming-inspired Air Force 1s.

Two Highs, one white and one black, plus a Low plug in to the theme with reflective details and wild holographic Velcro Swooshes. Finally, icy translucent outsoles add a cool touch underfoot.

Air Max 270 React

Stalwart Nike silhouettes aren't the only ones that have got the gamer treatment, newer additions to the Max family also get a look in.

The Air Max 270 React rocks the bold colours seen throughout the pack, with searing orange, purple and holo lighting up the crisp white uppers, while the gamer smiley graces the tongue.

Air Max 2X

Talking about Max, the collection sees the double-stacked Air bag of the Air Max 2X join its brethren.

Crisp mesh teams with technicolour once again, while the extra-cush sole should help you up your game.

Joyride

Last up, the squishy-soled Joyride joins the game. With snowy mesh, blinding hues, and all those balls underfoot, they'll slot nicely into your gaming rotation.
