Check Out This ‘Wheat Brown Multicam’ Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 Custom
Budding German sneaker customiser Florian Scheuermann, perhaps better known by his online handle kraz83kicks, still gets ‘goosebumps’ from all things Travis Scott. His latest project is a rework of the coveted Air Jordan 6 ‘Cactus Jack’ colab, which continues the mil-spec influence of the original olive design, and switches the BDU theme for ‘Wheat Brown Multicam’. This colour has parallels to the still (and probably forever) unreleased ‘Mustard Yellow’ F&F edition that TS has been spotted wearing.
The retail version of the ‘Cactus Jack’ AJ6 was already a premium pair, but Scheuermann’s penchant for luxury materials sees the uppers recrafted in nappy cow suede, while multicam ripstop fabric underlays reinforce the midfoot, tongue and ankle areas. More multicam lines the ankle collar in breathable jersey mesh – just in case there are any impromptu pickup games in the middle of the desert! Elsewhere, these custom kicks have replicated the add-ons that made the OG unique: ankle pocket bags (complete with suede trim and snap buttons), custom heel embroidery, printed Cactus Jack tongue loops, and ripstop-lined insoles. The outsole also glows in the dark!
Like many of Scheuermann’s customs, this AJ6 is a passion project for the time being, with only one pair in existence. Check it out.
